Founded in 1984 by former American Diplomat, Jerry R. James, Quester II is a full service Specialty Advertising company located in downtown Centreville, Maryland.

After serving 30 years abroad in nine countries, Mr. James recognized the need and demand for customized products for Americans living abroad, not only within the Embassies, but also working in other entities within the country.

Quester has played a vital role in designing and creating internationally personalized products for elements within embassies including Associations, Marine Security Guard Detachments, USAID, DEA and the Ambassador and in some cases schools associated with the Embassy and the Peace Corps. His service on a number of Association boards, and his knowledge of the workings within an Embassy helped to form this unique alliance.

Mr. James passed on the administration of the firm to his daughter Mary James in 1990, but continued to participate as the President and salesman extra-ordinary until his death on Thanksgiving morning 2000 at the age of 81.
